Geotourist is hosting the audio tour for Doors Open Baltimore, taking place on Saturday, October 22, 2016. The annual event is organized by the Baltimore Architecture Foundation, in partnership with AIA Baltimore, the local chapter of American Institute of Architects. The event features over 60 sites, including historic and adaptive reuse buildings, museums and galleries, cultural and community structures, and sacred spaces, some of which are not otherwise accessible to the public.
Geotourist will offer visitors the ability to listen to the buildings’ stories right on their smartphones. Visitors can download the Geotourist app and access each building’s audio information based on their geographic positioning. They can share their favorites and comment on the buildings.
