The audio guides will provide Angelenos and visitors the chance to explore Greater L.A.&#8217;s rich architectural history and culture right on their smartphones.<\/p>\n<p>The first offering, featuring downtown L.A.&#8217;s Chinatown, guides visitors through one of L.A.&#8217;s oldest and most exciting neighborhoods which has seen an influx of popular culinary hotspots and art galleries.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors will experience\u00a0Central Plaza in the heart of New Chinatown. The tour includes decades-old shops selling traditional teas, medicines, and Chinese imports; and places of historic importance in the battle for Chinese-American civil rights. The tour highlights dining institutions such as Hop Louie and Empress Pavilion, and the site of Madame Wong&#8217;s, a hotspot for legendary punk bands in the 1970s and &#8217;80s.<\/p>\n<p>Tour info is available at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.laconservancy.org\/events-tours\/self-guided-tours\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">L.A.
